Local Meetups: Co-Working at Tatte in Wellesley & Whiskey Night in Jamaica Plain

With so many founders across Boston, we’re rolling out casual co-working meetups hosted by the LBL community—north end, south end, and beyond. Drop in to work, connect, and swap ideas with builders nearby.

Wednesday 11/19, we’ll be co-working at Tatte in Wellesley from 10 - 3PM. Look for Karen and come say hello!

That night, join Stephan at The Haven in Jamaica Plain from 6 - 8PM for a pre-Thanksgiving day Whiskey meetup.

AI Pulse: What’s Shaping the Week

ChatGPT Browser Atlas Launches
Atlas comes with ChatGPT baked in, and while it can navigate the web like traditional browsers, the company says it can do much more. A feature that OpenAI calls "agentic mode" can take action, like an agent who can shop for you, make reservations, or buy plane tickets.

ChatGPT-5.1 has launched
OpenAI has recently released GPT-5.1, an upgrade to the large language model that powers ChatGPT. The update focuses on improved speed, smarter reasoning, and enhanced conversational capabilities. OpenAI highlights that the model is "warmer, more intelligent, and better at following instructions" than its predecessors, making interactions feel more natural.

Feature: AI tool of the Week

This week we’re highlighting Gamma. This is Karen’s favorite AI marketing tool by far - if you’re still building decks in google and powerpoint, please step away from the slides. Read our take from the cookbook here.

As always, stay humble, and we hope to see you around town soon!

Cheers,

Karen & Stephan
